ArmInfo.Armenia's Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan in an interview with Al Arabiya spoke about the another aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh.
The Armenian Minister informed about the destructive position of Baku in the negotiation process on an exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict, and constant attempts to resolve it by force. Declaring the commitment of Armenia and Artsakh to defend their homeland, he stressed that the plan of Baku to resolve the Karabakh issue by force will again fail, since the Armenian people are united in the issue of protecting their homeland. He reminded about Yerevan's commitment to an exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict and stated that there is no alternative.
The Armenian Foreign Minister also touched upon a new factor in the conflict, namely, the destabilizing role of Turkey in Azerbaijan's aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh. He spoke about the supply of Turkish weapons to Azerbaijan, including combat aircraft, the recruitment of terrorists from Syria by Turkey, as well as the strengthening of its military presence in Azerbaijan. "We have witnessed the strengthening of the military presence in Azerbaijan, and this is manifested in Ankara's unilateral support for Baku and aggressive rhetoric towards Armenia," the Armenian Minister said.
