ArmInfo. It is difficult to imagine a serious political process that would lead to a change of power in Armenia without the participation of the Republican Party. RPA Deputy Chairman Armen Ashotyan stated this on September 22 during a press conference, commenting on the upcoming rally of the PAP, "Motherland" and ARF Dashnaktsutyun parties.
Ashotyan stressed that the process of unification of the opposition is gradually taking place, and sooner or later the core of the opposition will unite. "In fact, now it is already obvious that Nikol Pashinyan was able to come to power, but he does not know how to use it," he stressed.
The RPA deputy chairman also touched upon the strategy for the transformation of Armenia until 2050 presented by the Prime Minister yesterday. Ashotyan noted that Pashinyan cannot implement even short- term strategies and fulfill his recent promises, and it is not clear how he intends to implement the strategy as much as 30 years ahead.
"Nikol Pashinyan does not give the impression of a person who is able to present a vision of the country's development, he does not have the necessary knowledge for this," concluded Ashotyan.
To note, on October 8 at 6:00 pm on Freedom Square in Yerevan a joint rally of the opposition parties "Prosperous Armenia", "Motherland" and ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" will take place.
