ArmInfo. Of course, there is a certain discontent in the Armenian society, but it is not very deep . Suren Grigoryan, a lawmaker from the "My Step" faction, said this during briefings in parliament.
Commenting on the upcoming rally, which three political forces intend to organize - the Prosperous Armenia, Homeland and ARF Dashnaktsutyun parties, the lawmaker said that they have the right to hold protest actions, however, he did not make any predictions.
"We realize that some citizens are unhappy with the situation in the country, however, we are doing our best to stabilize the situation. I want to emphasize that we do not close our eyes to the problems of the citizens of Armenia, " Grigoryan said.
The lawmaker also noted that the opposition has its own agenda, and it follows it. "As you remember, in the summer, the opposition announced the upcoming" hot autumn ", they keep their promise," he concluded.
In turn, the head of the parliamentary committee on foreign affairs Ruben Rubinyan told reporters that he doubted that the upcoming meeting of the three political forces would be successful. Rubinyan also noted that it is unlikely that there is deep discontent in society, but even if there was, the MP does not believe that these very forces would be able to gather broad groups of the public for the rally.
To note, on October 8 at 6:00pm on the Freedom Square the parties "Prosperous Armenia", ''Homeland" and ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" will hold a joint rally.
