ArmInfo. Member of the Armenian Parliament Armen Pambukchyan will be appointed Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia. Pambukchyan himself announced this on September 22.
He recalled that on September 17 he submitted to the Speaker of the Parliament a statement of resignation from his parliamentary mandate in connection with the transition to the executive branch. The lawmaker noted that he wants to become part of the country's revolutionary government. The political team, according to Pambukchyan, gave the go-ahead for this decision. He noticed that by nature he is closer to work in the executive authorities. The MP reminded that earlier, before being elected as a member of the RA National Assembly, he worked as Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of the RA, and work in the Ministry of Emergency Situations will become a new challenge for him. As one of the priorities of his activity Armen Pambukyan mentioned the consistent increase in the salaries of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which were increased by 30% last year.
