ArmInfo. Cases of re-infection with coronavirus have been recorded in Armenia. Health Minister Arsen Torosyan stated this during a briefing after the Commandant's Office meeting.
He noted that there is no cause for concern. <We have identified several reinfection cases so far. However, one should not think that every citizen who has had the virus can get sick a second time. More scientific research is needed to understand the causes of re-infection. Since repeated diseases are not of a mass nature, re-infection is possible due to the specifics of the patients' health, "Torosyan emphasized.
The minister noted that all anti-epidemiological measures should be observed, and then the possibility of re-infection cases will be minimized.
To note, recently citizen Arsen Harutyunyan stated that he was infected with the coronavirus again 40 days after his recovery. This citizen developed bilateral pneumonia.
