On behalf of Hakob Arshakyan, work will be carried out in the border  villages of Armenia to expand the availability of communication and  fiber-optic Internet

ArmInfo.Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia (HTI) Hakob Arshakyan paid a visit to the border zone of Tavush region

As reported by the press service of the ministry, during the visit  with the command staff of the third corps of the Armed Forces, the  peculiarities and effectiveness of the use of Armenian-made UAVs,  modernized types of air defense weapons and other means were  discussed.

Issues related to the broadcasting of regional digital television and  radio in border areas, as well as access to the mobile network and  the Internet were discussed with the Governor of the Tavush region  Hayk Chobanyan, Bishop Bagrat Galstyan and the adviser to the Prime  Minister Robert Ghukasyan.

Following the visit, on the instructions of the Minister of the RA  CCP, work will be carried out in the border area to measure radio  frequencies and map radio coverage, mobile and Internet networks. At  the same time, steps will be taken to improve the digital television  network, expand the availability of communications and fiber-optic  Internet in the border villages of the Tavush region.

In addition, in border villages there will be a long-term program of  modernization of HayPost (Armpost) units.
