ArmInfo. Ombudsman of Armenia Arman Tatoyan on his Facebook page published the news that he had sent the first interim report on shelling of the Tavush region of the Republic of Armenia to the international organizations on July 12 and July 13.
The Human Rights Defender emphasized that the report is sent to the UN Human Rights Council in a separate procedure. Such an opportunity is available only to national human rights institutions with international status "A".
Employees of the Ombudsman of Armenia continue to carry out monitoring, maintaining direct contact with the village of Movses of the Tavush region, residents of other villages, administrative bodies of civil communities, as well as with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
To recall, this morning information was received about the shelling by the Azerbaijani side in the immediate vicinity of the village of Movses and a number of other peaceful settlements. There was a real threat to the health, life and property of the villagers.
