ArmInfo. On July 9, representatives of the restaurant sector held a protest rally in front of the RA Government building. Among them are waiters, musicians and event hosts. In an interview with reporters, protesters noted that because of the cantina measures, since mid-March they have been unable to work in closed restaurants and hold public events. According to them, they are practically deprived of earnings, while in the framework of anti-crisis programs they were provided with only one-time assistance. It was also noted that if the government further intends to continue the policy of quarantine measures, then it should employ the citizens who have lost their jobs. This is not the first time that representatives of the restaurant sector have raised their problems with the government: according to them, there has never been an answer to a statement they submitted earlier from government agencies. We add that in conditions of emergency public assemblies are prohibited, and therefore the protest rally was stopped with the intervention of police officers; some protesters were driven.
