ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in his microblog on Twitter said that Nurhan Josupovich passed away at the age of 105.
<On March 6, we visited 105-year-old Nurhan Josupovich and personally handed him the passport of an Armenian citizen. Mr. Nurhan dreamed of obtaining citizenship of the Republic of Armenia. Today I was sadly informed that he passed away. I express my condolences to the family and wish them patience. May God bless the bright soul of Mr. Nurhan>, the Prime Minister wrote yeterday.
Nurhan Josupovich was born in 1915 in Western Armenia. At first, he and his family lived in Istanbul, then moved to Ankara. His father was a merchant, he created hats for which he brought fabrics from Italy. Nurhan Josupovich was educated at a local Italian school. For some time he worked at the Italian Embassy in Turkey. Soon he moved to Italy, where he lived. He was a citizen of Italy and moved to Armenia a few months ago.
