ArmInfo. 500 oxygen concentrators delivered to Armenia from China. The Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced this on his Facebook page.
"Arriving from China on our cargo flight on June 21, we received 500 oxygen concentrators that will be distributed between medical institutions dealing with confirmed cases of coronavirus disease and suspicious cases. This will significantly improve medical care for patients with respiratory failure, hospitalize them faster, and prevent complications the health status of such patients, "Pashinyan noted, adding that distribution of equipment has already begun at the airport.
He also informed that another 130 units of such equipment will be supplied in the near future, which will actually satisfy the current demand of Armenia. According to the prime minister, the possibility of providing such equipment for home use is also being discussed.
"3 large oxygen stations have also been delivered from China, which will increase the capacity for the production of concentrated oxygen for the following 3 medical centers: Nork Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital; Traumatology and Orthopedics Research Center; Infectious Diseases Department Surb Astvatsamayr MS.
Also at the supply stage are the Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center, the Police Hospital and the Centralized Oxygen Stations of the Mikaelian Institute of Surgery. Liquid oxygen systems were also delivered to Armenia for the infectious MCs Spitak, Artashat, Surb Grigor Lusavorich and Nork, "Pashinyan said adding that the equipment was purchased with funds from the state budget of Armenia.
