ArmInfo. Heads of educational institutions will be held accountable for mass student's gatherings. Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan announced this live on Facebook.
The Minister informed that alarms about the crowd of students in schools during the distribution of certificates and textbooks continued to be received. Harutyunyan expressed his bewilderment by this fact, emphasizing that theheads of educational institutions could have been more organized about this issue, especially since the ministry did not set deadlines for them. Thus, as was emphasized, in the current rush to issue certificates and textbooks at once there was no need. He also recalled that even at the last government meeting, it was indicated that the heads of educational institutions would be held accountable in which violations of security measures for COVID-19 would be revealed. Meanwhile, despite this, violations were recorded, and in all these cases, a corresponding investigation will be carried out with the participation of the capital and regional divisions of local authorities.
In total, 10,524 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Armenia, 3,454 people recovered, 170 died. Currently, 6,841 patients are receiving treatment.
