ArmInfo. The "Bright Armenia" faction is trying to create the impression that non-professionals work in the parliament. This was announced at a briefing on May 13 by the MP from the My Step faction, Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Ruben Rubinyan.
According to the MP, representatives of "Bright Armenia" are trying to create the impression that the MPs from the ruling bloc are not serious, do not differ from the previous representatives of the authorities, are supporters of the use of violence, etc. <Obviously, the creation of such a situation was in the hands of the previous authorities, which could not get into the seventh convocation of the National Assembly. And recently, representatives of the Bright Armenia faction are trying, willy-nilly, to create such an impression. Since the actions of some Bright Armenia MPs and the head of their faction cannot be described otherwise than attempts to discredit the parliament>, the MP emphasized.
To recall, on May 8 the work of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia was temporarily interrupted due to the conflict that arose between head of the Bright Armenia faction Edmon Marukyan and MP from the My Step faction Sasun Mikayelyan. Other MPs of the Armenian parliament were also involved in the assault. Clarification of relations with the participation of parliamentarians continued during the announced break, after which the conflicting parties finally dispersed.
