ArmInfo.The participants in the Eurasian Economic Union are in no hurry to expand the union, given the experience of integration processes in other regions, such  as Europe, which in this sense has encountered difficulties. Russian  President Vladimir Putin expressed this opinion in an interview with  the ''Moscow. Kremlin. Putin'' program on October 1, which was first  broadcasted on Sunday.

"Regarding the number of countries: we are not in a hurry to expand,  we are not in a hurry to jump over certain stages. Why? Because we  look at how integration processes are developing in other regions of  the world, say, in Europe there were many difficulties. Therefore,  you need to move gradually, not in a hurry, "Putin said.  Answering a  question about what the EAEU should ideally be, the Russian leader  noted that "there are no ideal things, including interstate  relations." 

"Decisions are always compromises, that is, someone is inferior to  someone in some ways, and there is no ideal situation at first  glance. But it is ideal in the sense that the system of relations  that we have built allows us to achieve these compromises. Moreover,  they are achived based on free will- not by "twisting the arms" - and  they really work, "Putin concluded.
