Kocharyan filed lawsuits against RA Criminal Executive Service and  Republic of Armenia

ArmInfo. Second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan filed lawsuits against the Criminal Executive Service of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of  Armenia.

The lawsuits demand to refrain from violating the rights of the  ex-president, that is, torture and inhuman treatment, as well as to  prevent possible damage.

According to the defense, Kocharyan is also at risk for COVID-19,  taking into account his old age and the presence of health problems.   At the same time, international structures have repeatedly voiced the  call to review preventive measures in connection with the  epidemiological situation in the world.  Earlier, Kocharyan's lawyers  came out with a demand to release the second president of Armenia  from under arrest due to the risk of the spread of the coronavirus.

Robert Kocharyan is being accused in the March 1, 2008 case. The  charges were brought under Article 300.1 of the RA Criminal Code  (Overthrow of the Constitutional System).
