ArmInfo. The Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Armenia Hrayr Tovmasyan sued the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with a demand to oblige the latter to apologize for offensive statements and refute the slander.
According to the press service of the Judicial Department of the Republic of Armenia, the case is in the proceedings of Judge Gayane Khachatryan.
To recall, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan during a large press conference in Kapan stated that Hrayr Tovmasyan was offering him his services. Then, he promised to publish evidence, warning that "the blow will be disproportionately strong". After that, the Prime Minister unveiled a photograph of an elite pen, which he borrowed from Tovmasyan in May 2018 at a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, but the head of the Constitutional Court refused to take it later. At the same time, Pashinyan claims that Tovmasyan addressed him in an exceptionally flattering manner, constantly calling him "jan".
In this regard, Tovmasyan instructed his lawyers to prepare a lawsuit against Pashinyan.
