Artak Kamalyan dismissed from the post of deputy minister of economy  responsible for agricultural sector

ArmInfo. By the decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, Artak Kamalyan was relieved of the post of Deputy Minister of Economy of  the Republic of Armenia. This is stated in the official statement of  the government.  According to the source, Artak Kamalyan will leave  his post on January 31 this year.

To recall, Artak Kamalyan was appointed to the post of Deputy  Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia in September 2018.  When, as a result of structural changes, the agricultural sector of  Armenia became part of the Ministry of Economy, Kamalyan assumed the  post of Deputy Minister of Economy (responsible for agriculture).

It is noteworthy that Kamalyan himself decided to move from Russia to  Armenia only after the "velvet revolution". Artak Kamalyan - Doctor  of Economics, Professor. He was educated at Voronezh State Agrarian  University (RF), continued his studies at the University of Reading  (UK), at the University of Colorado (CSU), USA. He has 20 years of  experience in the field of agricultural education and agribusiness.  He was a consultant, executive director, head of various agricultural  enterprises.
