As Advisor to the Prosecutor General of Armenia Gor Abrahamyan wrote on his Facebook page, the relevant authorities of the Czech Republic decided to satisfy the request of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia to transfer Narek Sargsyan to the Armenian law enforcement bodies. In this regard, the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia instructed the RA Police to organize the extradition process of Narek Sargsyan. To recall, the Armenian Police in cooperation with Interpol and foreign colleagues on December 6, 2018 in Prague discovered the nephew of the third president of the RA Serzh Sargsyan Narek Sargsyan, the son of Alexander (Sashik) Sargsyan, who is on the international wanted list. During the discovery, he had a fake passport of a Guatemalan citizen in the name of Franklin Gonzalez. The police turned to the Prosecutor General to organize the process of extradition of Sargsyan.
It should be noted that Sargsyan is accused of illegal acquisition, storage, carrying, transportation, or sale of weapons and ammunition, as well as illegal acquisition, storage, use and sale of drugs and narcotic drugs.
