Armenia and Georgia agree to expand defense cooperation

ArmInfo. Armenian Defense  Minister David Tonoyan, who is on a working visit to Georgia, met  with his Georgian counterpart Irakli Garibashvili.

As reported by ArmInfo in the press service of the RA Ministry of  Defense, during the meeting the parties discussed issues of  cooperation between Armenia and Georgia in the defense sector,  exchanged views on the current situation with regional security and  challenges.

The heads of defense departments pointed out the importance of  developing cooperation aimed at strengthening regional security, and  reached an agreement on expanding bilateral cooperation in the  defense sphere in a number of new directions.
