ArmInfo. Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan did not disclose details of the supply of new weapons to the Armed Forces of the country.
During a briefing on September 20, Tonoyan reaffirmed that for the needs of the Armed Forces, Armenia purchases the best weapons at very affordable prices, and it does not matter in which country it is purchased. However, it should be noted that different countries have their own internal restrictions on the supply of military products, Tonoyan emphasized.
When asked about possible deliveries of weapons superior to "Iskanders" technical qualities, Tonoyan said that as soon as it appears, this will be announced. Touching upon Armenia's supply of Su-30 fighters, Tonoyan suggested waiting until early 2020, stressing that there are certain agreements and obligations between Armenia and Russia.
