From September 6 to October 10, construction work is underway on the Kajaran-Meghri section of the M-2 highway, as a result of which the aforementioned section is closed to trucks. The following alternative road operates: Meghri-Shvanidzor-Tsav-Kapan.
It is also reported that construction work is underway on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen highway, as a result of which the aforementioned site is closed to trucks. Transport workers are encouraged to use the alternative highway Dilijan-Noyemberyan-Bagratashen. At the same time, according to data from the Department of Roads of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open to all types of vehicles.
