Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian , at a meeting with Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sargsyan, said that Iran's joining the EAEU would lead to a significant increase in non-oil exports. According to IRNA news agency, Sargsyan at this meeting expressed satisfaction with the completion of legal formalities in connection with Iran's accession to the EAEU, noting that this act will lead to the development of the volume of trade exchanges between Iran and the EAEU.
He also invited businessmen and private sector activists of Iran for wide participation in the international exhibition forum "Eurasian Week - 2019", which will be held from September 25 to 27 in Bishkek.
Sargsyan at this meeting invited Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to participate in the summit of the EAEU leaders, which will be held in Yerevan.
To recall, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani received an invitation from the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, to visit Yerevan on October 1. Ardakanian, in turn, invited Tigran Sargsyan, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, to visit Tehran.
