ArmInfo. It is well known that  Oganovsky led the Artsakh people in Yerevan on March 1. Head of the  United Armenia party Vahan Badasyan expressed a similar opinion to  ArmInfo.

"It was he who oversaw their movement to and from Yerevan. He  directed all their actions. This is far from known only to me. The  current leadership of Armenia knows this; they saw it all with their  own eyes, being participants in the events of March 1. This is known  to the Police. And, of course, this is well known in Artsakh. So  there is no secret and nothing new here, "he noted.

At the disposal of the Russian BBC service was the protocol for  interrogation of the former deputy commander of the Karabakh Defense  Army, Samvel Karapetyan (Oganovsky). According to investigators,  Karapetyan formed a group of 20 from his subordinates. Then he housed  it in the basement of the presidential residence. According to an  article published by the BBC, the investigation claims that it was  this group that shot the demonstrators during the post-election  protests of the opposition on March 1-2, 2008.

According to Badasyan, quite a lot of people were deployed from  Artsakh to suppress the protests that followed the 2008 presidential  election in Yerevan to use force against protesters.

 In this light, he turned to the Prosecutor General's Office with a  report on the crime committed by Artsakh Presidents Arkady Ghukasyan  and Bako Sahakyan on orders of Robert Kocharyan and his successor  Serzh Sargsyan. "I know these facts. And the fact, who directly fired  at the demonstrators will have to determine the investigation. People  who issued such an order should be considered state criminals. In  addition to the killings, a number of related crimes were committed  during the same period. In this light, I consider it unacceptable to  be positions of people involved in these crimes to one degree or  another, "he stressed. In this light, Badasyan is convinced of the  need to give an early assessment of the March 1 events, the role of  all three presidents in these events, and to punish Robert Kocharyan  for all crimes committed. According to him, it is precisely a clear  assessment of what is happening that will allow the current  leadership of Armenia to determine future priorities, both in  domestic and foreign policy.
