ArmInfo.By the decision of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan of July 16 an emergency response unit is to be established aimed at reducing the risks of catastrophes, preventing them and eliminating the consequences. The composition and order of the unit's activities were also approved, the official website of the government informs.
According to the document, the Minister of Emergency Situations Feliks Tsolakyan will head the working group. The group includes deputy ministers of Defense, Healthcare, Nature Protection, Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, Deputy Police Officers and Director of the National Security Service, Deputy Head of the Urban Development and Forestry Committee, ArmForest NGO, First Deputy Mayor and Deputy Governors (if necessary).
"The working group is charged with organizing events aimed at reducing the risks of catastrophes and eliminating their consequences. Periodically provide information on the progress of the work done and its results, and, if necessary, proposals to the RA Prime Minister," the decision of the head of government reads.
