ArmInfo.A delegation of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia headed by Deputy Chairman Shushanik Nersisyan in the Kyrgyz Republic participated in the 31st meeting of the Joint Board of Customs Services of the Customs Union Member States and the 69th Meeting of the Council of Heads of CIS Customs Services.
As the press service of the Armenian State Revenue Committee reports, a total of 35 decisions were signed during the sessions in various areas of customs. In particular, at the meeting of the Joint Board of Customs Services of the Customs Union member states, decisions were signed to create a unified system for the transit of goods through the customs territory of the EAEU, to develop common approaches to the establishment of a customs transit date. At the 31st meeting, decisions were also signed on the exchange of information between member states of the EAEU, on temporarily imported vehicles for personal use, the classification of certain goods in accordance with the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity, the customs declaration of goods for personal use, and the application of additional measures upon completion of the customs procedure of customs transit in order to exclude cases of violation of the legislation of the EAEU Member States. At a meeting of the Council of Heads of the CIS customs services, decisions were signed on the training of personnel for the customs services of the CIS member states, on cooperation between customs authorities and railway carriers, on the use of an international certificate of weighing vehicles transporting goods. A number of other issues related to customs operations and clearance were also discussed.
