ArmInfo. A working discussion is planned to be held in the National Assembly in the near future to discuss the positions of factions related to vetting. About this June 24 in an interview with journalists, said the head of the faction "My step" Lilit Makunts.
"A few days ago I addressed the President of the National Assembly and I think that a working meeting will be held, and we will discuss these issues," Makunts said.
According to her, in the end, the question is within the competence of the government, and this is not about the draft law on vetting, but about what structure it will conduct and how, therefore, the criteria should be discussed with all parties, including the judicial system.
She said that initially several options were discussed, according to which the body should conduct a vetting. "We consider that it is much more expedient to carry out a vetting through already existing structures, and not to follow a path that can sometimes imply unconstitutional approaches," the deputy stressed.
