ArmInfo.A number of state leaders congratulated Armenian President Armen Sarkissian on his birthday. According to the press service of the President of Armenia, Sarkissian was congratulated on the occasion of his birthday by the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.

The message, in part, reads: "Armenia is a traditional cooperation partner for China, the Chinese-Armenian friendly relations go back to the distant past. In recent years, bilateral relations have maintained a positive dynamic of development and business cooperation has steadily deepened. I attach great importance to the development of Chinese-Armenian relations and I am ready to work together with you to ensure that bilateral relations and cooperation in the framework of the joint implementation of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative achieve new developments, thereby bringing more real benefits to the peoples of our countries". President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also congratulated the Armenian leader on the occasion of the birthday of the Armenian leader. In his message, in particular, he noted: "Due to high professionalism, rich experience of public administration, service to the interests of Armenia you justly enjoy sincere respect and great authority both among your compatriots and far beyond your state's borders. I would like to highlight your personal contribution to the strengthening of friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Kazakhstan and Armenia. I am convinced of the invariance of further joint Kazakh- Armenian efforts aimed at deepening a mutually beneficial bilateral partnership.

" On the occasion of Sarkissian's birthday, his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko sent a congratulatory message. He stressed that the Republic of Belarus highly appreciates the personal contribution of President Armen Sarkissian to the deepening of friendly Armenian-Belarusian relations. "I am confident that your commitment, authority and rich experience of a statesman will continue to serve the promotion of mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries in various fields," the message from Alexander Lukashenko reads. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also congratulated the head of Armenia, wishing him good health and inexhaustible energy. "I wish every success in the highest state post for the sake of peace, progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Armenia", the message reads.

President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili congratulated Armen Sarkissian on the occasion of his birthday. "I hope that relations between Georgia and Armenia will deepen even more in the future. I assure you that I am always ready to contribute to the strengthening of cooperation between our countries'', the message by Zurabishvili reads. The message of congratulations also came were also sent by the Speaker of Senate of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dariga Nazarbayeva, Chairman of the Executive Committee - Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergey Lebedev and Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
