ArmInfo. The Armenian government has surpassed not only pre-revolutionary, but also revolutionary indicators. This was written by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page, referring to checks of cash registers printed for May.
As Pashinyan noted, in May of this year, compared to May 2018, 13 million 182 thousand 667 more cash checks were printed in Armenia. "This means that we have surpassed not only pre-revolutionary, but also revolutionary indicators," he wrote.
The head of government also expressed his gratitude to all entrepreneurs who conscientiously print cash checks. “I express my gratitude to all citizens who everywhere require cash checks,” he noted.
“I also want to emphasize that in fact these people are true authors of a total and tangible increase in salaries in the Armenian army. Thanks to the taxes paid by you, dear compatriots, the salaries of our servicemen have significantly increased,” the prime minister said.
According to Pashinyan, by such steps the Armenians demonstrate that "the people back the Armenian army, the government supports the Armenian army." “Dukhov (Be brave),” the head of the Armenian government wrote.
To note, from the first day of his premiership, Nikol Pashinyan declared the imperatives of issuing cash checks from the point of view of establishing tax discipline, as well as ensuring tax revenues of the state treasury, which will further ensure the performance of many social spending items.
