ArmInfo.The attacker, armed with a hunting rifle, entered the branch of a bank located along Totovents street in the Nor-Nork district and was disarmed by a police officer serving in the bank.
The report notes that on Monday, June 10, at about 5.30 pm, a policeman from the headquarters of the State Guard saw an armed man trying to enter the bank, a police officer immediately grabbed the gun and tried to neutralize the offender. During this time the shot sounded.
The policeman managed to take away the firearms and with the help of the citizens to detain the man who had come to the bank.
An operative group of the Nor-Nork Police Station and other employees of the Main Directorate of State Guard were called to the scene of the incident and took the man to the police station.
It turned out that the armed man is a resident of Yerevan, he is 46 years old. Weapons have been confiscated. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
The police neutralized another criminal, a resident of the town of Vedi, who threw a grenade into the city hall building. The police found out that the reason for such a radical act was the fact that the man, because of his immoral behavior, was evicted from the city hall building, where he was given a room to stay. Throwing a grenade into the city hall building, the man tried to take revenge on the Vedi city administration for his eviction.
