However, according to the seismic service of regional protection, during this period, 8 cases of earthquakes of magnitude 3 or higher were recorded in the region. So, on May 29, 35 km to the northeast of the Turkish Van, jolts of a magnitude of 4 points were recorded;
On May 30, an earthquake of magnitude 3 in magnitude occurred 28 km north-west of the Turkish city of Sarigamish; On June 1, a three magnitude earthquake occurred 30 km west of the Iranian city of Akhar. Three earthquakes of three magnitude occurred on June 2 at a distance of 26 km and 27 km south-east of the Azerbaijani city of Sheki, 15 km south-west of Iran's Salmas, and 21 km south-west of Dmanisi in the Armenian-Georgian border area.
Another three magnitude earthquake occurred on June 3, 21 km north-west of the Iranian city of Hoi An.
