ArmInfo. In Armenia, there is a problem with the coverage of ongoing programs and awareness of target groups. On May 15, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia Zaruhi Batoyanstated this on the fields of the launch of the "Work, Armenia" program and the event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
In particular, according to Batoyan, existing and developed programs should be made more targeted and accessible. The program launched today, according to the minister, promises to be a pioneer in this matter, since the focus is on the people. The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs reminded that the "Decent Work" program was signed the day before, which will contribute to the implementation of the "Work, Armenia" project. As the minister pointed out, both documents will assist in the revision of all labor legislation and will ensure equal rights for all participants in the process.
To note, the main pillars of the "Work, Armenia" program will be the development of human capital in Armenia, the promotion of employment and the implementation of institutional reforms. The main message of the program is a consistent improvement in the quality of life through work and professional self-realization. Meanwhile, the national program "Decent Work" was signed on the eve, which sets the priorities of the Armenian government in the labor market, goals and expectations for 2019-2023. The document aims to achieve the three main objectives - full regulation of labor relations in accordance with international standards, improvement of employment policy in the republic and the formation of social dialogue.
