Turkey has expressed its willingness to open archives to study events  of 1915

ArmInfo. At the conference dedicated to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan touched upon the events of 1915, stating that the Turkish archives are open to all,  <Anadolu> agency reports.

"From the Ottoman archives, 35.5 million documents, 8 million  photographs, and 19 million government documents were digitized," he  said.

Erdogan said that those who are trying to teach Turkey a lesson in  democracy in the fight against terrorism and the Armenian issue -  "They themselves have a bloody history."

The President of Turkey also stressed that no group or state accusing  Turkey of the "events of 1915" had provided archival evidence.  <France, which killed Muslims, cannot give lessons to the Turks,  deportation is one thing, and massacre is another. Who are you lying  to?>, he concluded.
