ArmInfo.Young citizens of Armenia and Argentina will be able to visit each other's countries for the purpose of short-term residence. At the April 23 sitting, the RA National Assembly ratified the Armenian-Argentine agreement "On the program of vacations and labor activity".
According to the Deputy Foreign Minister Grigor Hovhannisyan, in 2011 the countries signed an agreement on the abolition of the visa regime, according to which citizens of Armenia and Argentina can travel without a visa for a period not exceeding 90 days within six months. The new agreement, signed on July 7, 2014, provides for trips of young citizens of two states at the age of 18-30 years for a period of up to 12 months. This tool will help in the development of friendly relations, as it will enable the citizens of Armenia, visiting Argentina, to get a new experience. In turn, citizens of Argentina, especially representatives of the Armenian diaspora, will also have the opportunity to visit their historic homeland on a long-term basis.
To note, last year the trade turnover between Armenia and Argentina amounted to $ 8 million.
