ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on April 22 at a meeting with the faculty of Economics and Management of YSU shared his thoughts on what should be a graduate of the Armenian University.
According to the Armenian Prime Minister, there were several questions with which the users of the Facebook social network recently turned to the head of the Cabinet and which impressed him a lot. One of them concerned how justified the situation is for the local labor market, when an employer requires a diploma in higher education, 3 years of work experience and excellent knowledge of 3 foreign languages from a candidate for a vacant position at the age of 22. He also ruled out a situation when qualified professional could remain unemployed.
According to the head of government, at first glance it may look absurd. "But on the other hand, we should strive to ensure that in Armenia, at least, women who are not subject to military service, at the age of 22 years old, meet these criteria," the premier said.
According to him, the current government offers citizens to hate poverty, lack of initiative. "The government encourages the initiative citizen, the efforts of citizens to improve their skills, increase the baggage of knowledge and skills. Then I rule out the situation so that such a specialist remains out of work>, Pashinyan assured.
At the same time, the head of the Cabinet asked the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Hayk Sargsyan whether he could guarantee that the graduate of the department he headed met the specified requests. "No, our graduates cannot ensure the simultaneous fulfilment of three conditions - skills, knowledge, opportunities," Sargsyan admitted.
