This opinion was expressed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on April 16 at a solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of Police. But I consider this day to be a landmark for relations between the police and the society of Armenia. And, despite all their conflicts, the events of that day showed that between citizens and the police have no hatred, "said Pashinyan.The prime minister recalled that in any case the Police is a power structure and even in a developed democratic state, it is from time to time forced to resort to force measures. "But it is important to emphasize that the actions of the Police should not cause hatred and show hatred. I believe that in Armenia, hatred is eliminated from the relations of the authorities and society, power structures and society," he said.The head of the government is convinced that the law enforcement agencies, especially the Police, is one of the pillars of the Armenian statehood.
"The high level of the police's fulfillment of its functions indicates the effectiveness of the state," said Pashinyan. He expressed hope that in the new Armenia the police will have a new image, there will be a new content. "The police will never serve any political force, team. It should serve the Constitution, the laws and the people of Armenia," the head of the Cabinet said.According to the Prime Minister, in today's Armenia not everything is perfect, but she is confident and on the right path. "And this police aspiration must be to achieve excellence," he said.Nikol Pashinyan congratulated all police officers, thanked them for their service. "I thank those who are on duty at the border. I thank the police who save lives, defend the rule of law, the state, the people and the future. I am sure that we have such a police force," the Armenian Prime Minister said
