ArmInfo.On April 17-19, a delegation of US congressmen will visit Armenia, including David Price (Democrat), (Republican, Florida), Dina Titus (Democrat, Nevada), Michael Conavey (Republican, Texas), Gerry Connolly (Democrat, Virginia), Adrian Smith (Republican, Nebraska), Barbara Lee (Democrat, California) and Terry Suel (Democrat, Alabama).
The delegation will hold meetings with officials of the executive and legislative authorities and deputies of the National Assembly, as well as representatives of the media, civil society and public organizations. She will also visit Holy Echmiadzin.All members of the delegation are representatives of the Democratic Partnership Commission of the House of Representatives. The Democratic Partnership Commission of the House of Representatives is a bipartisan structure whose activities are aimed at promoting effective and open governance and strengthening democratic institutions by facilitating the legislative structures of countries with developing democracies through parliamentary cooperation.
