ArmInfo. Currently, the Armenian government is working to unload educational programs and eliminate duplication of training material. The Minister of Education and Science of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan announced this on March 25 at a government meeting.
As Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted, it is not a secret to anyone that the republic has problems with "educational content". "These issues are very relevant and we must work in this direction to improve the entire level of education. The goal is to use every minute in an educational institution, and the state should clearly realize what tasks the state sets itself, taking the child in the educational process and what measurable results will be obtained on the basis of their implementation, "- he said. In this direction, according to the head of the government, working discussions are held in the Cabinet of Ministers in order to solve the tasks in an expeditious manner, but slowly and not "headlong."
The head of the Ministry of Education and Science, in turn, stated that in many disciplines repetitions were observed, topics are duplicating each other. "This leads to excessive workload of school programs and students," the minister stressed. The work, he said, will be completed within a year.
