According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, the Vardenyats Pass is closed for the passage of trucks with trailers, and it is difficult for the rest of the transport. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the roads are also difficult: the Landzhik section of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, the inter-community roads of Amasia and Ashotsk, and the Sotk-Karvachar road.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia called on drivers to go on a journey only if they have winter tires.
At the same time, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, citing Georgian colleagues, reported that the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for all types of vehicles. Meanwhile, according to the Emergencies Ministry of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, 179 vehicles, of which 132 are freight and 47 are passenger, have accumulated at the Upper ars checkpoint.
