During the inspections in the Ministry of Education and Science, the Armenian police revealed another fact of government funds being wasted.According to  the materials of the case, it became clear that from 2011 to 2016 the  driver of the Minister of Education and Science was registered in  parallel in three different educational institutions as a driver or  builder, receiving an appropriate salary from the state, but not  fulfilling the obligations prescribed by them.

According to the Police, the head of the department of primary and secondary  specialties of the Ministry of Education and Science, using his  official position, prompted the director of Kotayk Regional State  College from February 2011 to March 2016 as a college driver to take  on the job of the driver of the Minister of Education and Science.  Not fulfilling its contractual obligations, the driver received a  salary of 2.5 million drams.It was also found that from 2009 to 2016.  the same driver of the former minister was employed as a worker at  the State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry of Yerevan. 

Not fulfilling its agreed obligations, the driver received a salary  of 4.5 million drams.In addition, the rector of the State Economic  University, using the official position, in 2016-17. as the driver of  the construction department and the technical services of the  university took the same person to work. Again, not fulfilling its  agreed obligations, the minister's driver received a salary of about  2 million drams and checks for gasoline worth 1,230 liters.According  to the materials of the investigation, in 2009-2017, the driver of  the former minister from the budget was unreasonably allocated a  total of 9 million drams and half a million drams for the purchase of  fuel. In fact, a case was initiated, investigation is underway.It  should be noted that in these years, the Ministry of Education and  Nuki was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party Armen  Ashotyan.
