ArmInfo. By permission of the investigator Alexander Sargsyan (brother of the third Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan- Ed.) allowed to leave the country, provided that he returns at the first request of the National Security Service. On March 22, head of the National Security Service of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan stated this in an interview with journalists.
He noted that Alexander Sargsyan applied to the investigation department of the National Security Service with a request for permission to leave the country, as he had health problems. According to Vanetsyan, Sargsyan left on a subscription basis, which will be returned at the first request of the National Security Service.
"At the moment, there is no need for Alexander Sargsyan to return. But if it arises, the investigative body will contact his lawyers. I think there will be no problems with this," Vanetsyan said.
To note, Alexander Sargsyan in Armenia is accused of large-scale fraud. As a preventive measure in respect of the latter, a written undertaking not to leave the place was chosen. According to preliminary data, Serzh Sargsyan's brother left for Spain. Earlier in the National Security Service reported that he received permission to do so. Before that, he <voluntarily> transferred to the state $ 18.5 million, which will go to the needs of the Artsakh Defense Army.
