In the Investigative Committee informed that in fact a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of paragraph 13 of Part 2 of Art. 34-104 of the RA Criminal Code. Within the framework of the criminal case, the wounded policeman was recognized as a victim and gave testimony, according to which, on September 2, 2018, according to the schedule, he carried out supervisory service at the front line according to the schedule. However, later a forensic medical examination showed that the policeman had injured himself with a sniper rifle assigned to him, which led to a temporary suspension of his official duties. According to the case, then the policeman deliberately gave false testimony, and for the truth and support of his testimony, he made 12 shots in the direction of the enemy's positions.
