ArmInfo. A parliamentary delegation led by President Ararat Mirzoyan has arrived in Berlin. The Assistant to the President of the National Assembly of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan wrote about it on his Facebook page on March 18.
As Kostanyan pointed out, for the last time the President of the National Assembly of Armenia was invited to Germany on an official visit exactly 25 years ago, in 1994. Earlier, ArmInfo reported that a delegation of Armenian parliamentarians from March 18 to 21 will be on an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany. As the press service of the RA Parliament reports, the agenda of the visit includes meetings of the NA President with Bundestag President Wolfgang Schauble, Vice President of the Bundestag Petra Pau, Head of Germany-South Caucasus Friendship Group Johannes Kahrs, the President of the Berlin Parliament Ralf Wieland, the President of Landtag of Saarland Stephan Toscani and the Chairmanship of the German- Armenian Forum. The delegation led by the NA President will visit the German Parliamentary Association (DPG), the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), as well as the University of Saarland. The parliamentary delegation includes lawmakers of the parliament of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan, Lilit Makunts, Edmon Marukyan, Naira Zohrabyan and Tsovinar Vardanyan.
