ArmInfo.The co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on Armenia, Yulia Levochkina and Andrei Shirtzel, expressed their readiness to continue making efforts in the process of deepening PACE cooperation with Armenia.
They stated this during a meeting with Armenian President Armen Sargsyan.According to the press service of the RA President, the head of state noted the importance of the PACE monitoring process in terms of strengthening democracy in the country, stressing that Armenia is ready to continue an open dialogue with the structure.At the same time, the head of state noted that the Council of Europe is an important partner of Armenia in the process of legislative reforms.The President commended the important contribution of European structures in the development and strengthening of the country's democracy.
