ArmInfo. The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction satisfied the claim of the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan against the "Skizb Media Center" (1in.am  portal and the "Zhamanak newspaper").

The lawsuit, in particular, consisted of a claim for refutation of  publications made public by the "Skizb Media Center", as defined by  the second president, containing defamation, and also monetary  compensation for the damage caused. According to the verdict, the  1in.am portal should publish a refutation of 4 articles, indicating  that they are not true, ask for the forgiveness of the second  president for them and pay 400 thousand drams as non-material  compensation. The court rejected the claim for collecting 1 million  600 thousand drams as non-material compensation. These include, in  particular, the articles "Grigor Grigoryan testified against  Kocharyan, the latter was arrested", "Panic of Robert Kocharyan,  second president on the way to prison", "Bloody symbol of  counter-revolution - Robert Kocharyan", "Kocharyan-Sargsyan - the  beneficiary of bloody 20 Anniversary ".

According to the court decision, within two days after receiving the  verdict, the www.1in.am portal at around 9:00am should publicize a  refutation. Moreover, the font and format of the refutation must be  identical with the refuted articles. The refutation must state that  the information contained in the publications is untrue and  defamatory. The verdict takes effect a month after publication and  can be appealed during the same time.
