ArmInfo.Azerbaijan uses and will continue using all means to isolate Armenia until our lands are liberated. This, according to "Trend" Baku news agency, was announced  by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in an introductory speech at a  meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the results of  socio-economic development in 2018 and the upcoming tasks.

"As for the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh  conflict, our position remains unchanged. This issue must be resolved  only within the territorial integrity of our country. Resolutions of  the UN Security Council must be implemented, the Armenian armed  forces must unconditionally be withdrawn from the occupied lands.  These very expressions have been reflected in the resolutions of the  UN Security Council. The process of continuing negotiations began,  despite the fact that at the initial stage the new leadership of  Armenia tried to avoid them. There were even voiced suggestions that  Azerbaijan should hold negotiations with self-proclaimed  "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic." We immediately rejected such attempts.  Of course, the mediators involved in resolving the conflict also  could not support such an incomprehensible approach and expressed  their opinion. As a result, the negotiation process was resumed.   Several meetings of foreign ministers have already taken place, and  negotiations are being held between Armenia and Azerbaijan, " Ilham  Aliyev said.

The head of state noted that only this format is acceptable for the  negotiation process. "As you know, last year great changes took place  in Armenia. The regime of the criminal junta, which illegally usurped  power for twenty years, fell. And this is natural. This is the  logical, bitter end of the criminal regime. Surely, Armenia's  aggressive policy also plays crucial role in this issue. Because it  is because of this policy, we have isolated Armenia from all regional  projects. Because of this occupation policy, the economy of Armenia  has, we can say, collapsed. Armenia is experiencing a profound  demographic crisis, the process of depopulation, that is, population  reduction. Azerbaijan has provide to the international community that  te policy it has conducted is right. I have never kept this policy in  secret and have openly stated from various platforms, that we use and  will continue to use all the means to keep Armenia in isolation until  our lands are liberated. This policy yielded results, the criminal  regime fell, and a new situation arose in Armenia, "the President of  Azerbaijan added.
