ArmInfo. Armenian Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Garnik Badalyan met yesterday with Deputy Prime Minister of the government of Turkmenistan on culture and mass media Bahargul Abdyyewa.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, the sides discussed issues related to the restoration of the mausoleum of the Turkmen emir Emir Amir Saadi in Argavand and the possible reconstruction of the mausoleum in the village of Khndzoresk, as well as the restoration of the Armenian church in 1903 in the city of Turkmenbashi with the permission of the Turkmen side.
The interlocutors noted the need to adopt a bilateral long-term cultural program. To strengthen bilateral cultural ties, the importance of resuming cultural days was noted. The sides exchanged views on issues relating to the Armenian- Turkmen cultural cooperation.
