ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan congratulated compatriots on the Victory and Peace Day. According to the Office of Public Relations of the  Government of Armenia, in his message, the head of government noted  "the victory of our ancestors in the Great Patriotic War was truly  historical.

This victory and the world conditioned by it have opened  new ways for our people and new horizons for its creative work, for  the development and improvement of the country. All layers of the  Armenian people gave this victory everything they could, and crowned  their name on all fronts of the world war, as well as in the rear, in  the partisan movement and resistance movement.  With deep respect  today, we express our respect and gratitude to our veterans. "

At the same time, Pashinyan noted that today is a double holiday for  the people of Armenia: "We celebrate the anniversary of the  liberation of Shushi. This glorious victory was not just a military  success. With this victory the Artsakh Armenian nation was saved from  the threat of extermination and has acquired the prospect of a  peaceful life. Today we bow our heads before the memory of all the  fallen and assure you that we will not tolerate the violation of the  freedom of the individual and the people. We will not tolerate,  because our people have humane ideals, a freedom-loving soul, and  also a single will-to protect these ideals>. The Premier stressed  that "the non-violent, velvet revolution that has taken place in  Armenia, its nation-wide unity is another indisputable proof that we  have a clear understanding that there is freedom, democracy and  peace. Today, the Armenian people in Armenia, Artsakh and the  Diaspora once again believe in their strength, the spirit of  liberation of Shushi has not died out in our hearts, in our eyes. "  "My beloved people, proud citizens of the Republic of Armenia, I have  no doubt that the victorious spirit of the Armenian people, which has  become even stronger in recent events, will bring Armenia and Artsakh  to new achievements. The Armenian people are confidently striving to  fulfill their desires. Once again I congratulate all of us on this  glorious holiday, I wish the peaceful sky, fair and effective work,  to the glory of our country and for the good of our people! ", Nikol  Pashinyan noted in his message.
