ArmInfo. The Nagorno-Karabakh problem has no military solution. Vice Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov stated this during a meeting with Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Moldova Vladimir Vityuk.
At that, he stressed that no war can solve the problem. Sharmazanov is convinced that problems are solved through mutual compromises, based on three well-known principles. In this context, he stressed the unacceptability of the Azerbaijani and Turkish militaristic rhetoric.
The meeting also exchanged views on the issues of the Armenian-Moldovan agenda, including the priority directions of the foreign policy of the two countries. "Armenia is the only member of the Eurasian Economic Union, who signed an agreement on cooperation with the EU, and there is a good opportunity to become a bridge between the EAEU and the EU," Sharmazanov said. Representatives of the Moldovan delegation also stressed the importance of strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation. Parliamentarians from Moldova talked about the interaction with the EU and the stages of harmonization of legislation.
