ArmInfo.Armenian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Ara Sahakyan met with the co-chairman of the Kazakh-Armenian interparliamentary friendship group, Beybit Mamrayev, in the lower chamber (Mazhilis) of the Kazakh parliament.
According to the press service of Armenian MFA, at the meeting, the Armenian Ambassador stressed the importance of developing contacts between the parliaments of Armenia and Kazakhstan, promoting cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, in particular, the need to involve parliamentarians of the two countries in establishing mutually beneficial contacts in such areas as tourism and information technologies.
In turn, Mamraev stressed the importance of implementing joint educational and research projects. At the same time he expressed his readiness to come forward with his own initiatives in this direction. The interlocutor discussed a number of issues related to the sphere of migration.
