ArmInfo.The Armenian-Iranian film "Eva" will qualify for the award in the nomination "The best film in a foreign language" from Armenia. As ArmInfo was informwed in the National Film Academy of Armenia, the film was included in the long list of foreign films from 92 countries that put forward their films for consideration. Recall that the film "Eva" of the Iranian director Anahit Abad is a joint product of Iran and Armenia. It is filmed in Armenian.
The film narrates about the history of one Karabakh village, which continues the struggle for existence and undergoes various tests. The film tells about the hard life of a young woman - a doctor who wants to forget the heavy and dark history that happened in her life many years ago. Eva with her daughter leaves Yerevan, settles in Artsakh with friends. However, the past overtakes it everywhere.
The movie was filmed with the financial support of the "National Film Center Armenia "and Fund" Film Production Center Farabi "(state fund).
The script of the film is Anahit Abad, the producer is Tahi Alugulizade. Narine Grigoryan, Shant Harutyunyan, Marjan Avetisyan, Rosi Avetisyan, Sergey Tovmasyan, Vrezh Kasuni, Tigran Davtyan, Nanor Petrosyan, Evelina Adamyan, Marat Davtyan and others took part in the film.
