ArmInfo."Baku is doing everything to ensure that trips to Karabakh are reduced, but their actions have a completely opposite effect, the number of trips is  increasing," Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian stated at  the September 13 sitting of the National Assembly.  Nalbandian also  noted that after the arrest of Lapshin, a group of 10 bloggers  visited Artsakh and in the near future another group is going to  Karabakh to take part in the festival of wine.

ArmInfo. Head of the Center for Regional Studies Richard Kirakosyan is convinced that the amnesty of the Russian-Israeli blogger Alexander Lapshin by the President of  Azerbaijan is connected with the decision of Israel to suspend supplies of AR weapons.

The statement of the blogger Alexander Lapshin convicted in Baku on extradition to Israel was transferred to the Justice Ministry of Azerbaijan, the verdict on  the blogger's case takes effect on August 14. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Lapshin's lawyer Eduard Chernin. "The application for extradition was transferred to the Ministry of Justice," Chernin said. He added that extradition is possible only after the court verdict comes into force. "The sentence comes into force approximately on the 14th," the lawyer said.

The absence of proper  respond of international community on the arrest and extradition to Azerbaijan Alexander Lapshin  bloger resulted abduction of Azerbaijani journalist Afghan Mukhtarli in Georgia and his illegal detention in Baku. Armenian Foreign Ministry press secretary  Tigran Balayan wrote on his Facebook page, referring to the statement of European External Action Service on the given incident. EEAS statement, particularly reads: "The alleged abduction and illegal  arbitrary detention of Azerbaijani nationals, including human rights defenders, residing in Georgia followed by their arrest and prosecution in Azerbaijan, demands swift, thorough and transparent  investigation."
