The statement of the blogger Alexander Lapshin convicted in Baku on extradition to Israel was transferred to the Justice Ministry of Azerbaijan, the verdict on the blogger's case takes effect on August 14. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Lapshin's lawyer Eduard Chernin. "The application for extradition was transferred to the Ministry of Justice," Chernin said. He added that extradition is possible only after the court verdict comes into force. "The sentence comes into force approximately on the 14th," the lawyer said.
